Planting the seed

At one point in our industry's history, ag professionals were revered. But as time went on and the number of farmers got smaller and smaller, and the number of extremist groups got bigger and bigger, people across the world began to lack an understanding for, and an appreciation of, crop nutrients. It got so bad that most of what the world now knows about crop nutrients is what they learned from extremists.

In 2005, The Fertilizer Institute and seven of the world's largest fertilizer companies got together and said enough is enough. They dreamt of putting together a non-profit public education organization that would spread the real story about crop nutrients and fertilizer. The Nutrients for Life Foundation became the manifestation of that dream.

Today, the Nutrients for Life Foundation boasts members from all over the world and is firmly committed to developing a variety of initiatives to spread the truth about our invaluable industry.
